This Privacy Policy explains how Takamol Mobility Services (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, processes, shares, and protects personal data relating to drivers who use the Taxi Platform, including the TAXI-Driver mobile application (the “Driver App”).

This Driver Privacy Policy applies only to drivers and should be read together with the Driver Terms & Conditions and applicable platform policies.

1. Who We Are

The Taxi Platform is owned and operated by Takamol Mobility Services, a company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Commercial Registration No. 1010850465.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• Drivers registered on the Platform
• Use of the TAXI-Driver application
• Driver onboarding, verification, trip execution, payouts, and compliance

This policy does not apply to riders.

3. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only data necessary to operate the Platform safely, legally, and efficiently.

3.1 Identity & Contact Information

• Full name
• Mobile number
• Email address
• National ID / Iqama (where required by regulation)
• Driver license details

3.2 Vehicle Information

• Vehicle registration details
• Vehicle type and plate number
• Compliance documents (where applicable)

3.3 Payment & Payout Information

We collect and process payment-related data to enable driver payouts and driver payments to the Platform, including:

• STC Pay mobile number provided by the driver (for receiving trip earnings)
• Bank account / IBAN details, where provided by the driver
• Transaction records related to driver earnings, settlements, and adjustments
• Records of driver payments made to the Platform using:
  • Cards
  • Vouchers
  • STC Pay Business

We do not store full card details.

Payment and payout information is processed in accordance with applicable data-protection laws and the Platform’s privacy policies.

3.4 Location Data (Background Tracking)

We collect:

• Real-time location data
• Continuous background location data while the driver is online or engaged in trips
• Trip start, route, stops, and completion data

By using the Driver App, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of your location data, including background location data, as this is essential to provide core Platform services such as trip matching, navigation, safety, fraud prevention, and service reliability.

3.5 Device & Technical Data

• Device identifiers
• IP address
• App diagnostics and crash data

3.6 Usage & Conduct Data

• Trip acceptance and completion
• Cancellations and no-shows
• Ratings and feedback
• Compliance and safety signals

4. How We Use Driver Data

We process driver personal data for the following purposes:

4.1 Platform Operations

• Creating and managing driver accounts
• Matching drivers with riders
• Executing and tracking trips

4.2 Payments & Payouts

• Distributing driver earnings to the STC Pay number or bank account provided by the driver
• Processing settlements, adjustments, and reconciliations
• Enabling drivers to pay the Platform using cards, vouchers, or STC Pay Business

4.3 Location-Based Services

• Displaying driver availability to riders
• Navigating trips in real time
• Monitoring service continuity and safety

4.4 Safety, Compliance & Fraud Prevention

• Detecting misuse of the Platform
• Identifying VPN usage, fake GPS, or location manipulation
• Enforcing platform rules and regulatory requirements

Use of VPNs, fake GPS tools, or location-spoofing technologies may disrupt service accuracy and may result in suspension or restriction of access.

4.5 Communication

• Sending trip requests and updates
• Account notifications
• Support and compliance communications

4.6 Legal Basis for Processing

We process driver personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

• Contractual necessity (to provide Platform services)
• Legal obligations under applicable laws and regulations
• Legitimate interests related to safety, fraud prevention, and service integrity
• Driver consent, where required (including for background location access)

5. Background App Activity

The Driver App may continue to run in the background while active to:

• Track trips accurately
• Ensure reliable rider matching
• Support safety and operational requirements

Drivers are informed of this requirement during onboarding and permission setup.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell driver personal data.

We may share driver data as follows:

6.1 With Riders

During an active trip, the following driver information may be shared with riders:

• First name
• Profile photo
• Mobile number
• Vehicle details
• Real-time location
• Driver rating

6.2 With Service Providers

• Payment processors (STC Pay, banks, PSPs)
• Cloud infrastructure providers
• Analytics and security service providers (non-advertising)

6.3 With Authorities

Where required by law or regulation, including requests from:

• Transport authorities
• Courts or law enforcement agencies

7. Analytics & Monitoring

We use analytics tools solely to:

• Improve app performance
• Enhance safety and fraud detection
• Maintain system reliability

Analytics data is never used for advertising, cross-app tracking, profiling, or marketing purposes, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention

Driver personal data is retained only as long as necessary:

• While the driver account remains active
• To comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations
• To resolve disputes or investigations

Certain financial records may be retained for legally required periods.

9. Driver Rights

Drivers have the right to:

• Access their personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request account deletion (subject to legal obligations)
• Object to certain processing activities

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect driver data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
